We offer unlimited telemedicine visits for a low monthly fee of $40.
Telemedicine is the diagnosis and treatment of patients' medical needs using remote technology such as videoconferencing on an electronic device.
Anyone is eligible for a telemedicine visit. Government and commercial insurance companies cover telemedicine and individuals without insurance coverage can participate in these types of visits as well. However, only individuals without commercial or government insurance coverage are able to participate in our telemedicine membership.
For $40 a month, you get unlimited telemedicine visits and two in person visits a month at $20 per visit. That is less than the cost of a cell phone bill. Any additional in person visits that month, would be at our regular " in person follow up" visit cost ($60).
Urinary tract infections, skin rashes or lesions, anxiety, depression, nausea, vomiting, acid reflux, prescription refills (non narcotics), and oral contraceptive counseling are just a few of the conditions that can be seen via telemedicine. There are unfortunately some conditions that are best treated in person due to the need of a physical exam where your heart and lungs are listened to in person such as chest pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, and cough.
You can use a smart phone, tablet, laptop computer, or desktop computer to participate in a telemedicine visit with our clinic. We will send you a link to access the appointment prior to the scheduled time.
No, you do not have to be an established patient to see us for a telehealth visit.
We are happy to see you in our office for an in person visit if that is warranted. We encourage our clients to clearly state the reason for their appointment request at the time of booking so that we can better assist you and identify ineligible reasons prior to and reschedule you in person.
Yes, our electronic medical record provides access to HIPPA approved and compliant software for use of videoconferencing for these visits.
